Why Maddy Does It

From her early years, Maddy was captivated by the world of architecture, a fascination that only intensified throughout her academic journey. To her, architecture transcends the mere construction of structures. It embodies the art of crafting spaces that resonate with individuals and communities alike. It serves as a conduit for expressing cultural narratives, safeguarding historic legacies, and fostering communal interactions. In every design, Maddy sees an opportunity to impact lives, celebrate history, and enrich the societal fabric.

Giving

To fulfill our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, every member of the Unity team has chosen an organization that aligns with their personal values and purpose. Unity has made a donation on behalf of each team member to their chosen organization.

Why Maddy chose: SickKids Foundation

“I chose to support SickKids foundation because of my personal connection to them. For the first half of my life this place was my second home. I was born with a brachial plexus injury in my shoulder which required me to constantly visit SickKids for physiotherapy, surgery, checkup etc. I am grateful to SickKids and want to show my support of their vision of fighting for children’s health and wellbeing by donating to this foundation.”
